The International Leadership Training Program (ILTP) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that serves in the United States since 2001. Its mission is to raise young conscientious leaders who can contribute to peace-building efforts around the world. As of January 2020, 400 people from as many as 38 countries joined the program and became active community leaders in their home countries.
The program is designed to offer first-hand experience of the spirit of America – life of service, racial and cultural diversity and the natural environment all over the country. Even though participants come from various backgrounds – different cultures, languages and religions – young people are passionate to live, learn and work together, overcoming such barriers. They will soon understand constitutional principles of America that value universal human rights and religious freedom.
The program is open to motivated young adults in the US and abroad. It provides participants with short-term comprehensive leadership training through volunteer service and educational seminars. ILTP received the President’s Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) in 2009 (Bronze), 2011 (Gold), 2016 (Gold), 2017 (Gold), 2018 (Gold) and 2019 (Gold) for its commitment to serving society, as well as the status of Certifying Organization that can award participants with PVSA certificates for their volunteer service.
Regardless of races and religions, people around the world are hoping that young generations become peacebuilders in the new millennium. We are confident that the program can help participants find their calling to promote the vision of One Family under God beyond racial and religious barriers.
